This 3D Tube Map Is A Perfect, Pointless Way To Procrastinate

Do you ever come across stuff on the internet and think ‘why does this even exist’?

Well, this is an example of one of those things. Don’t get us wrong, we are forever grateful – how else would we distract ourselves from the important things, like the work we’re actually paid to do?

During a routine flick through StumbleUpon, a website that is literally dedicated to distracting you with other random websites, we stumbled upon this 3D graphic of the London Underground, designed by Bruno Imbrizi. It serves no real purpose, but it does use a combination of station depths, latitude/longitude coordinates and train running info to make a pretty neat little map we can play with. It’s not in real-time, it’s missing the Waterloo & City and Circle lines, but it is a bit of fun… for about 2 whole minutes. Go on, check it out, you’ll love it. It’s got to be better than replying to that email…

Have a play!
