Rooftop Film Club are back for another cracking summer season.
Summer and rooftops are, let’s face it, a match made in heaven. Throw an outdoor cinema into the mix, and you’ve officially got the best place to be this summer. With that in mind, a trip to Rooftop Film Club is certainly on the cards, as they’ve brought a huge range of films to London’s rooftops this year. There’s plenty of movie magic still to see, and handily, we’ve got the tickets all lined up for you!
The magic of cinema comes to life beneath the setting sun at Rooftop Film Club, who’ve set up shop atop some of the capital’s most scenic rooftops. Down in Peckham, the cinema has taken over the charming Bussey Building rooftop, screening the likes of Dirty Dancing, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mean Girls, and new releases such as Late Night and Yesterday.
You’ll also find Rooftop Film Club at east London playground Roof East, with the likes of The Great Gatsby, Romeo + Juliet, Avengers: Endgame, and a singalong Grease screening coming along for the ride. Completing a frankly excellent triumvirate is Queen of Hoxton, where Notting Hill, A Star Is Born, and The Shawshank Redemption will play out under the stars.
Showings will run throughout the summer until mid-September, and you can see a full list of films here. Of course, with sweeping views over the capital also on tap, you may find yourself struggling to keep your eyes on the film…
