17 Places You Need To Go If You’re Madly In Love With Pizza

Roses are red, pizza sauce is too, I ordered a large, and none of it’s for you…

1. Comptoir Libanais

One for the Lebanese lovers, try something different and opt for a Man’ousha (pronounced ‘man-oo-shi’) Lebanese pizza like the Halloumi Cheese & Zaatar (£8.95). Traditionally eaten for breakfast, there’s no judgement if you do the same… Over ten locations in London.

2. Pizza Buzz

Keen on locally sourced ingredients (their coffee’s roasted in Shoreditch, craft beer brewed 5 miles away and Ginger Ale made on site), these sourdough pizzas are delicious. The ‘Beatrice’ comes recommended (£8.5), Honor Oak Park, Brixton, Peckham.

6. Sodo Pizza Cafe

Sodo often create evening specials named after footballers like the one above called the ‘David Beckham’. They pride themselves on producing a dough that is light on the stomach due to a 48-hour fermentation and baking at 450 degrees, but offer a gluten free alternative of a base of Cannellini beans as well. Hoxton, Walthamstow, Clapton.

7. Radio Alice

A pizzeria that is named after Radio Alice, a pirate radio station that broadcasted in the 1970s from a two-room attic in the centre of Bologna. This place is fun and fiery and also offer Pizza Viola with no tomato or cheese (‘but the same joy’), Hoxton Square.

8. Bellillo

9. Sweet Thursday

Both a pizzeria and a wine shop in Southgate Road, they hold regular wine tastings along with food. Try the English Breakfast Pizza for brunch (£10). Plus, why stick to a typical tomato base? Here you can get aubergine puree or pumpkin puree or even a cream base instead!
