London is home to a damn good cocktail … okay, several. Here’s a roundup of some of the most intricate looking, breathtaking and of course, oh so Instagrammable tipples on the block.
1. Mr. Fogg’s
With a residence, a tavern and a Gin parlour, Mr Fogg’s is certainly a place for every cocktail lover. Sample a selection from over 300 gins in their G & Tea or just sit back and enjoy one of their many quirky cocktails.

2. Cocktail Trading Company
We’ve been and we have to say, we’re big fans of this bar’s cocktails. We recommend the Punch cocktail which is actually served frozen and in a conch shell. Quirky AF.
68 Bethnal Green Rd, near Shoreditch High Street station, E1 6GQ.
3. Hush Mayfair
Not only is this a great weekend brunch spot but the Aviator bar here also do some devilishly good cocktails too. They serve your cocktails in all sorts here but we have to say, those big glass skulls they use look especially Instagrammable.
Lancashire Court, 8 Brook St, Mayfair, near Bond Street station, W1S 1EY.
4. Dandelyan at The Mondrian Hotel
So of course the world’s best cocktail bar had to get a mention in this list and these 10 pictures show you exactly why it got this impressive accolade. Not only are the cocktails award-winning but the surroundings are pretty picture-worthy too.
The Mondrian Hotel, 20 Upper Ground, near Blackfriars station, SE1 9PD.
5. Nightjar
In need of a holiday but can’t afford one? Fear not as you sip on some wondrously tropical cocktails at Nightjar. If you’re a fan of receiving your cocktails in swan boats or just having generally cool looking drinks to adorn your Instagram feed then this is the place for you.
129 City Rd, near Old Street station, EC1V 1JB.
6. Thai Square Putney
This Thai restaurant has just launched a new cocktail menu and it looks pretty darn majestic. Things will be smokin’, served in teapots and is hailed as having one of the best restaurant views in the UK.

7. The London Cocktail Club
With branches all around London, you’ll be sure to find a place to fill your cocktail appetite with this place. They have interesting flavours of the month too so you can only expect only the most bizarre but totally delicious concoctions in this cocktail club.

8. The Bar With No Name
This cocktail bar is so clever, even their bartenders wear lab coats. The cocktails here are as smart as the ambience and you can even get a “deconstructed bloody mary” which consists of an egg yolk and alcohol served to you in an oyster shell. And yes, it really has no name.
69 Colebrooke Row, near Angel station, N1 8AA.
9. Searcy’s at The Gherkin
Lots of gin cocktails are to be had at this impressive skyhigh bar at the top of The Gherkin. Not only are the drinks worth some intricate table placement for the perfect picture but your surroundings are equally as jaw-dropping too.
30 St Mary Axe, near Aldgate station, EC3A 8EP.
10. One Aldwych
When we went along to this afternoon tea, we couldn’t resist getting a Cocktail Charlie and oh boy, was that the right decision. A perfect mix of whiskey mixed with Grand Marnier Cherry, chocolate bitters, grapefruit juice and cherry syrup all topped off with champagne. Did we mention it comes smoking in a glass teapot? Oh so magical.
1 Aldwych, near Holborn station, WC2B 4BZ.
11. Barts London
Why get a cocktail in a glass when you could be presented with a mechanical contraption, a vintage teapot or something on fire, right? This cocktail bar was London’s first speakeasy and is (not so) secretly nestled along Sloane Avenue. They even have board games on Sundays and Mondays, oh happy days.
Chelsea Cloisters, 87 Sloane Ave, Chelsea, near South Kensington station, SW3 3DW.
