Here in London, our summers mainly consist of hoping the sunshine stays around and basking in said sunlight on rooftops. Roof East in Stratford most definitely has it all and is set to re-open on the 4th May 2017 *queue cheering*. The top of a multi-storey car park doesn’t really seem like the hub of all things hip and fun but we assure you, this rooftop is set to be everything you’ve been hoping for and more.
As well as a greenhouse in a shipping container and morning yoga classes, Roof East are boasting a jam packed line-up of fun in time for the summer, in partnership with the Social Fun and Games Club. Expect London’s only batting cage experience, a rooftop roller disco, hip-hop inspired lawn bowls (cleverly named De La Bowl and yes, we’re still laughing) and some good ole’ crazy golf.
To make things even better, the ever popular Rooftop Cinema Club will be back screening some of the best blockbusters to help you unwind after a long summer’s day. And of course, expect some scrumptious street food and drinks to accompany your deckchair daydreaming.
Be sure to book your slots soon as their timetable is looking more than amazing. More information can be found here.
