The second star to the right, and straight on till morning… Or, if fairy dust is out of stock, catch the Northern Line to Old Street instead. The Queen of Hoxton have just announced their brand new summer rooftop theme and it is a pretty darn magical Neverland…
Following the success of their winter Sky Halla, the Nordic Viking Feasting and Drinking Hall in the Clouds, The Queen of Hoxton’s summer theme should be an awfully big adventure. Calling all Lost Boys, Wendy Ladys, Mermaids, Ticking Crocodiles and Tiger Lilys… this is your chance to never grow up and play in a real-life land of wonder. Whether it’s your thing to climb aboard a pirate ship to meet your fate, take a magical flight through the island of eternal youth, lounge in a seashell with mermaids in the blue lagoon, or if you just want to get pixie tipsy at the Lost Boy’s Hideaway Bar, it’s all here and it’s all covered in glitter.
And it’s not just the decs that are (Mrs) Darling. The food and drink has also been sprinkled with fairy dust… You can get a Floating Fairy Absinthe Cocktail, a gin-based Blue Lagoon, or a Mermaid Slushie made of layered Frosecco (frozen prosecco). And for later in the night when things get a bit more rampagious, there’s a strong selection of Mermaid shots served in clam-shells.
No need to make-believe the food here, try the Neverland Ribs, Bangarang Burger or Peter Pan Prawns. Tick Tock.
The summer rooftop launches at the end of April and runs until October 2017. Plus, there’ll be some enchanting events to go with the theme like the Mermaid Crown Workshop on 3rd June and some Wildlife Drawing on the 11th… so keep your eyes peeled to book your spot.
We do believe in fairies, we do, we do.
