It seems like London will do anything in honour of our man Andy, even if it involves some weird and slightly obscure tennis-themed edible things.

So join us as we raise a toast to the final days of Wimbledon by scoffing our faces with strawberry and cream frosé and chocolate and meringue tennis rackets.

1. Tennis Ball Melt at Nobu

Nobu Wimbledon 2017

Head to Nobu London or Nobu Berkeley Street before July 16th to indulge in this tennis ball-themed dessert. Created by the restaurant’s Executive Pastry Chef Regis Cursan, this (entirely gluten free!) dish is made up of a white chocolate sphere filled with a strawberry semifreddo filling, carefully balanced on a vanilla and lemon sponge. Pour over warm white chocolate sauce to watch the tennis ball melt 😋

2. Wimbledon Cocktails at The May Fair Bar

This super fancy hotel bar has added a special selection of Wimbledon-inspired cocktails to its menu for The Championships. Created and served by the hotel’s finest mixologists, the cocktails aren’t just easy on the eye — they also use aptly British ingredients, including English strawberries, sloe gin and Champagne. For example, try The Perfect Serve with Pimm’s, orange curacao, Angostura, strawberries and apple-cucumber foam, or the Match Point with gin, cointreau, Dom Benedictine, lemon and Champagne. But be quick, they’re only available until Sunday 16th July.

3. Wimbledon Glory at Eneko

Bask in your own Wimbledon Glory at Eneko at One Aldwych, which is the excellent name for their spectacular Wimbledon-themed dessert. Expertly created by three Michelin-starred Basque chef Eneko Atxa, the Wimbledon Glory is a cream mousse tennis ball filled with Szechuan-infused fresh strawberry compote, sat on a buttery biscuit base and served with a carefully manufactured chocolate and meringue tennis racket.

4. White Chocolate and Pistachio Mousse at Aviary

Aviary Wimbledon Dessert

Aviary is London’s latest rooftop destination and it too is joining in with the tennis-related fun. With their white chocolate and pistachio mousse shaped tennis ball with a wild strawberry curd, we’re pretty sure Aviary has the winning serve.

5. Strawberries & Crème Cocktails at Drake & Morgan

Strawberries & Creme

In keeping with Wimbledon’s signature snack, Drake & Morgan’s Strawberries & Crème is a delightful mix of Tanqueray gin, crème de fraise, lemon juice, egg white and fresh strawberries. A jolly good serve if you ask us!

6. Strawberries and Cream Frosé at Ben’s Canteen

We told you about Ben’s Kitchen jumping on the Frosé train, but they’ve also created a special Wimbledon edition of the drink, available throughout the tournament. A sweet mix of rosé wine, strawberry purée, strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and double cream. We can’t really make our minds up about this one…

7. Tennis Choux at PAUL

Pair of Tennis Choux's

PAUL are also joining in the tennis-themed tomfoolery with their Tennis Choux, a tasty strawberries and sweet crème patisserie sandwiched between a choux pastry bun and dusted with icing sugar. It’s available to eat-in or takeaway — alongside their Tennis Ball Tartlet filled with zesty lemon cream — until 16th July.

8. And if you’re up for travelling a little further afield…

Down Hall Wimbledon Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the final weekend of Wimbledon with a little trip to the countryside and indulge in a special Wimbledon Afternoon Tea at Down Hall Hotel & Spa in Essex. There’ll be lots of classic British treats, like buttermilk scones with Devonshire clotted cream, Wimbledon-inspired cakes like classic strawberry tart, slices of pistachio and vanilla Battenberg or white chocolate cheesecake with Pimm’s jelly. Yes, Pimm’s jelly. This will all be served up on a mini tennis court with an optional a glass of Pimm’s on the side. Besides the tennisy treats, the afternoon tea will also include free use of the tennis courts and access to the hotel’s gym, sauna and steam room. Sounds like the perfect city escape to us…
