A study has revealed that London Stansted and London Gatwick are ranked in the bottom 10 of the world’s worst major airports.

Airhelp is a helpful service that disgruntled passengers can use when experiencing difficulties with their flights and they’ve just released their latest rankings. Results show that Gatwick is actually the second worst airport in the world out of 76 major airports ranked.

The 5.38 out of 10 ranking comes as a result of unhappy customers, numerous delays and damning complaints about the airport’s facilities. A spokesman for Gatwick has dismissed the ranking and claimed that delays are “outside its control”. Awkward.

Stansted doesn’t do much better as 4th worst with a poor ranking of 6.07 but thankfully, it’s not all bad news on the London front. Heathrow bagged the claim of being in the top 20 of the best airports. Hooray for Heathrow.

If you’re looking for an impressive airport then maybe make your way to Singapore as their Changi airport came out on top and maybe try to avoid Kuwait as they landed straight at the bottom of the pile.
