This free food festival on Wednesday June 28th will be a chance for Londoners to sample some of the capital’s best restaurants and their signature dishes.

London Bridge Open Kitchen is a chance for the area’s best chefs to, well, open their kitchens for us all. Yay. This free event includes the likes of Hawksmoor, Bob’s Lobster and Village East, to name a few.

Although planned before the Borough Market attack on June 3rd, this event is still going ahead and is set to be bigger and better, in a show of solidarity and defiance.

The impressive line-up of traders have been chosen to represent London’s ever-growing and vibrant culinary world so you can expect signature dishes like smoked brisket from Texas Joe’s or Hawksmoor’s burger with bone marrow.

Each stall will be serving up one or two of their best-known dishes and the event will be housed along the backdrop of London Bridge’s newly renovated railway arches. We love a trendy railway arch and these are no exception, as they’ve been restored as part of London Bridge station’s redevelopment.

Bermondsey-based breweries Fourpure and Hiver will be providing the booze and although the event’s on a Wednesday evening, it’s sure to be a perfect humpday treat. Who can turn down prawn wontons and craft beer, eh?

Register for your free tickets here and you can find London Bridge Open Kitchen at St Thomas Street, London, SE1 3QX.
