Campfire nights are few and very far between here in London. We don’t really know why. But now you can sip on as many botanical cocktails as you like whilst getting toasty by the fire… right here in the city.
Midnight Apothecary sits on top of the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe and is the perfect hidden gem overlooking the Thames! Guests will be able to sip on seasonal and garden-inspired cocktails such as the Cherry Blossom and the Lilac Days. All the cocktails on offer have been made using ingredients from Brunel Museum’s own rooftop garden or foraged nearby by the founder, Lottie Muir aka The Cocktail Gardener (an impressive sounding title if we say so ourselves)!
Expect an ever-changing menu as it adapts to whatever’s in season, or sip on some locally sourced spirits and beer. Even the honey beer and gin is from Bermondsey!
Guests can have a complimentary guided tour around Brunel’s huge underground Grand Entrance Hall or maybe you’d like to learn about the world’s first underwater tunnel? There’s also free marshmallows to toast and some delicious Greek grub from the Greek BBQ.
For the first time, The Midnight Apothecary will be offering a special Happy Hour offer where guests can buy 2 botanical cocktails and get the second half price, until 7pm. If you ever needed an excuse to buy more drinks in the evening, this is it.
Midnight Apothecary is open every Friday and Saturday from now to the end of September. Doors open at 5:30pm and last orders are at 10pm. Tickets are £5 and available to purchase online here.
