The east London party palace is back for summer from May 25 – here’s what to expect…
After spending the winter in ‘cosy festive market’ mode, street food hub-slash-arts venue The Last Days Of Shoreditch is about to return with a hot summer look. The organisers grabbed headlines when they revealed their all-avocado all-the-time food stall – but it turns out there’s a LOT more than that to look forward to.
This year, they’re promising an urban beach with palm trees and decking, to give partygoers a taste of the tropics. If you fancy a sing-song, Lucky Voice will be hosting a karaoke booth for you and your mates to butcher a pop classic. And if you too become twice as intelligent after a few drinks, you can try fuzzily puzzling your way out of their escape room experience.
And alongside Belli Freschi’s made-for-Instagram avocado bar, you can snack on Nanny Bill‘s croquettes and burgers, or sit down for a proper four-dish feast of ‘punk tapas.’ (Can tapas really be punk? Discuss.) Five bars will dish out beer, wine and refreshing cocktails, while a variety of themed private rooms (including the Bowie Bauhaus and Purple Rain) mean you can roll deep in your very own riff-raff free VIP.
The venue will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout summer. Their opening party is on Thursday, May 25th. It’s free entry on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday nights after 9pm. Saturday day party tickets are up to £10.
