Has Colin Firth’s marriage actually lasted this time? Is Keira Knightley still a total bitch? Did Hugh Grant win the next two General Elections? We will FINALLY have all the answers to London’s favourite film…
In a shocking twist of fate, rather than going for a second-rate money-making shit show sequel (Trainspotting 2 aside), Love Actually 2 is being released on TV for Red Nose Day on 24th March in the UK and on NBC on 25 May in the US. A March release might seem a little strange for the all-time favourite London Christmas film, but, then again, Richard Curtis hadn’t meant for the film to be a Christmas one at all…If we can predict one thing it’s a Billy Mack smash hit of ‘Red Noses Are All Around’.
Red Nose Day Actually has promised the triumphant return of Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Colin Firth, Lucia Moniz, Liam Neeson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Marcus Brigstocke and Rowan Atkinson. Yes. Yes. Yes. Bill Nighy, who didn’t even mean to audition for the first film, is making a return, and Ant and Dec will be delighted. Martine McCutcheon will also be lip glossing her way into the film, rather inevitable seeing as Curtis had her in mind for Natalie all along, even initially naming her character ‘Martine’.
BUT WILL THE BLUE WHALE BE MAKING ITS RETURN?
