London’s Underground Ball Pit Is Getting A Glow In The Dark Makeover!

share on:

You may remember us telling you about BallieBallerson, the adult ball pit that rocked up in East London last November. Well, here we are again with some more exciting news… BallieBallerson is going all glow in the dark on us and rebranding themselves (temporarily) as GlowyMcGlow. They’re getting a dancefloor made of 10k LED lights that will change colour in time with the music, and covering it with 250k transparent balls. So we can still get, er, balls deep in balls, but this time they’ll be luminous.

Meanwhile, upstairs, there will be glow in the dark murals charged with UV light blasts, meaning every hour the room will go into full-on rave mode for five minutes. There will also be an out-of-this-world cocktail menu themed around the planets, and they’ll be nothing like you’ve ever seen before. Neptune will be based on charcoal and liquid nitrogen; Saturn will be made with helium and garnished with a floating balloon; and Uranus will only be drinkable after you’ve popped a Miracle Berry pill (sounds pretty dodgy but it’s all very safe and legal, we promise).

Tickets are now for sale on Fever, and GlowyMcGlow events will start next Friday (10 February). Fever are also selling VIP tickets for 6 people (including a table and a bottle of Prosecco), but only one per session… so get in there quick!

Georgie lives in East London and has noticed that she's become slightly more hipster since moving to E1. She's a frequent visitor of trendy cafés and is all too familiar with the extortionate price of a coffee in the capital. She enjoys the finer things in life (like red wine on a school night and eating Ben and Jerry's straight from the tub) and hasn't quite grasped the concept of adulthood yet. She'll get there eventually but, until then, she'll continue to ring her parents for advice on how to manage her finances.
