Hamleys Huge Toy Parade Is Coming To Regent Street!

share on:

Following the success of last year’s Toy Parade, toy shop legends Hamleys will hold another magical day of fun on Regent Street on Sunday. And now the street is all Christmassy, lit up and beautiful, rest assured it’s going to be a spectacular event. You can expect to see a range of well-loved children’s characters taking part, as well as performers, marching bands, dancers and toy vehicles. Some of the favourite stars of last year are set to return, including Barbie herself, Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam and the Transformers gang. The 1.5 mile parade will be led by the star of this year’s show, Basil Brush, alongside the iconic (and HUGE) Marshmallow Man.

And, as it’s a Christmas parade, we can only assume another highly anticipated white-bearded man will make an appearance… So be on your best behaviour! The world’s largest toy parade will take over Regent Street on 20th November and will kick off at 10.30am, with the grand finale taking place on the main stage at 4.30pm. For more information, head to the Hamleys website.

After recently graduating from a degree in History (something she wishes her student loan would become), Annabel resents people who complain about their commutes between zone 1 & 2, as hers goes beyond the Oyster zone. It's worth it, however, to be able to write in a city where bars stay open past 8pm.
